Racing Queensland

The 2019-20 UBET Greyhound Series includes eight races – nine of which are Group events – and eight Qualification races for racing. Race venues in Queensland are expected to provide 24 tracks. In a statement, Racing Queensland CEO Ian Andrews said that the 2019-20 event will highlight Queensland's commitment to excellence in racing by building upon the momentum created by the 2016 Olympic Games in Sydney. Greyhound Predictions will be posted within 60 days of a race being announced. RQ, which has four events – four Group event and the UBET Winter Carnival – will race from June 4 to 26 at the University of New England campus, a three-hour drive northwest of Sydney.

The UBET Winter Carnival takes place during the period of intense weather that affected Queensland at the Olympic Games. The season has been interrupted by blizzards, snow, floods and strong winds. As well as the UBET Winter Carnival, Racing Queensland has eight scheduled events in four pools from June 26-July 8, including three Group and three Listed races that will feature the UBET Greyhound Series and UBET Greyhound Qualifier. Racing Queensland has previously announced the following events for the three pools: the first UBET Winter Carnival, the UBET Winter Qualifier – Qualifying for the UBET Greyhound Series, and the UBET BRC UBET Greyhound Qualifier.
